Smoking is directly linked to about  85% of lung cancers. And also smoking exponentially increases the risk of other cancers, which includes mouth, throat, esophagus, stomach, pancreas and more.

  1. Heart Diseases

Smoking leads is directly linked to  heart disease and smokers are at higher risks to heart diseases. Smoking doubles the risk of stroke as well.


  1. Lung Diseases

Smoking causes  chronic bronchitis and emphysema and  chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD). Smoking may also cause lung infections .And if you have asthma it makes it worse.


  1. Pregnancy Complications

Smoking during pregnancy causes multiple risks to fetal development. Women who smoke are at greater risk of ectopic pregnancies, miscarriages and premature births. Smoking is also linked to low birth weight babies , sudden infant death syndrome and birth defects like cleft palette.


  1. Osteoporosis

Smoking is a risk factor for osteoporosis . Prolog smoking people have higher risk of fractures .

  1. Dental and Gum Problems

Smoking increases risk for gum disease (gingivitis). Also causes  tooth discoloration, cavities, increased build-up of plaque and tartar on the teeth and bad breath.

  1. Digestive problems

Nicotine increases the risk of stomach ulcers and duodenum. Smoker also may experience heart burn frequently

  1. Impotence

Smoking may cause erectile dysfunction. Smoking constricts the blood vessels of the penis, reducing blood flow and inhibiting a proper erection.


  1. Infections

Smoking increases the risk of infections and weakens the immune system. Smokers can catch colds, flu, pneumonia and tuberculosis.


  1. Insomnia

Smoking affects the quality of sleep, smokers experience difficultly falling to sleep and staying asleep.
